Nanotechnology

What I Already Know:

I know that nanotechnology is a unit of technological research through which the amounts of programming that are put into it are microscopic. I also know that nanobots are programmed or designed to do different things, depending on what the programmer wishes them to do. I also know that depending on the specific task that the programmer has designed for the nanobot, the nanobot has to be upgraded for it to suit the specific task, and to get the job done faster, easier, and effectively.

Questions That I Have:

1.) I wonder if nanotechnology can be incorporated into cleaning up oil spills.
2.) Can nanotechnology reduce the amounts of petroleum that we release into the atmosphere whenever we drive a car?
3.) Is nanotechnology effective?
4.) Is nanotechnology reliable?
5.) Can nanotechnology make the world greener?
6.) How expensive is it to produce nanotechnology?
7.) Have nanotechnology experiments been undergone?
8.) And if these experiments have gone underway, then what are they designed to do?

Links:

Link # 1 is here. This link explains in excruciatingly accurate detail the process, the stages, and the complex difficulties, that are needed to produce nanotechnology, and make nanotechnology a reality in the world.

Link # 2 is here. This link serves as a very interesting source. Because this website lists specific uses, purposes, and its relation to other elements/components of science. It even includes its definition, and useful links to help you out along the way.

Link # 3 is here. This link shows a very interesting subject of nanotechnology. Goo and paste. This site tells you all about the amazing fundamentals and capabilities of the self-replicating, full on factory, of nanobots.

Link # 4 is here. This is a very interesting link. This website states all of the ways through which nanotechnology is nowadays being incorporated into our daily lives. Especially these 3 most important categories: medicine, electronics, and food!

Link # 5 is here. This link shows the ways in which nanotechnology can be implemented into daily life to make artificial photosynthesis! It may be boring, but it sure is useful!

Things I Learned:

1.) I learned that nanotechnology can help make the world greener.
2.) I learned that nanotechnology can be implemented into daily life.
3.) I learned that nanotechnology can help recharge electrons.
4.) I learned that nanotechnology is composed of a deadly goo. (Not all of it!)
5.) I learned that nanotechnology can help cure the sick.
6.) I learned that nanotechnology can be used in electronics.
7.) I learned that nanotechnology can be easily implemented into the food we eat everyday!

How This Topic Relates To My Life:

Well, I had never before noticed that nanotechnology is implemented in our food. Or our medicine even! Nanotechnology making the world greener by producing fake photosynthesis is a great accomplishment, but I'm afraid that it currently isn't on my top 5. Its like saying that you're going to quit breathing oxygen, to begin fermentation! Its like they don't even need trees or plants anymore! But, anyway. There are still sooo many things that I have yet to learn about nanotechnology still! Well, until the next one! Bye!

Questions I Still Have:

1.) How will grey goo help us in the future?
2.) What's the deal with passive grey goo?
3.) And finally, why do people even program a naive mind into a nanobot, anyway?

Well, that's it for this blog post! Until the next one! Bye!

Google Day 4

Goals:

1.) Today I want to learn how to be able to 3D model food.
2.) Today I also want to learn how to 3D model complex monuments. (The Temple of Angkor Wat).
3.) Today I also want to learn on how to 3D model non-human characteristics on certain characters.

Links:

Link # 1 is here. CreativeCrash.com, is a very useful site, which allows for the views and the downloads of certain 3D foods. I recommend it for beginners.

Link # 2 is here. Free3DModelz.com is a site which gives you your own 3D modeling experiences, throughout some samples that other people have created themselves. Speaking of samples, this link leads to CAKE!

Link # 3 is here. Crazy3DsMax.com is a pretty wild sort of site, which has small clips and fragments of food that, (along with other 3D models), allows for a much wider, and broader, 3D experience.

Link # 4 is here. GoogleSketchUp is an effective resource for 3D modeling. It allows you to double your 3D experience tenfold! (I know it doesn't make any sense.). You can download the system into your computer, and, PRESTO, you are now able to 3D model anything you want! This link leads to the Temple of Angkor Wat!

Link # 5 is here. 3DExport.com is an excellent site, that shows you step by step instructions on how to create an excellent, 3D alien! And not just that, but also, any other character that is on the same site, as well!

What I Have Learned:

I have learned today, that you are able to model, pretty much anything you want! From cars, to aliens from outer space. Food, even! So to anyone who decides to begin their 3D modeling experiences off with a bang, let me tell you, there are a lot more opportunities than you think! Take it from me. I've been working on this project for 4 days, and I am already wowed on the number of sources that there are on 3D modeling, alone! So just in case if there are any experts or even beginners on this brand new 3D modeling experience, let me tell you; you've got a lot to learn!

Something I Want To Learn Next Class:

Something that I want to learn next class, is, how to 3D model animals, in their several different stages of life! Like the musk ox, from Russia! Or, the penguins from Antarctica! It doesn't matter what I choose, just as long as I learn how to do it! Am I right?!

Well, that's it for this blog post! Until the next one! Bye!

Google Day 3

Goals:

1.) Today I expect to learn about how to 3D model in detail.
2.) I also expect to be able to compute the degrees of knowledge it takes, to 3D model.
3.) And lastly, I also expect to be able to comprehend on how to 3D model 2D anime characters.

Links:

Link # 1 is here. This website is quite interesting, because, it offers useful examples of 2D models, that have already been converted into 3D models. Isn't that great?

Link # 2 is here. This site is very useful. It offers up tutorials on how to begin with your new, 2D to 3D, anime modeling experience. It also offers chat networks, to learn new skills, and for necessary assistance.

Link # 3 is here. pigments Through The Ages, demonstrates the complex process of converting real-life 3D images, into 3D digital images. It even shows us a "walk through the ages", through which this process of 3D modeling has been applied not only today, but long ago as well!

Link # 4 is here. Simply Maya, is a very fun, and interactive site; which offers in EXCRUCIATINGLY ACCURATE DETAIL, the process on how to be able to develop your accurate, 3D modeling facial expressions, and detail, on all of the 3D models that you wish to make on Simply Maya.com.

Link # 5 is here. This is a link to the NASA website. And this website shows a speech given by Jay Horowitz, on the history, and the opportunities, (and future opportunities), of computers. While Mary Vickerman, discussed all about 3D modeling, based on the exact same criteria.

What I Have Learned:

Today, I have been able to learn a lot of things. But I believe that the words "a lot", doesn't quite justify what I have really been discovering lately. For example, I might have seen the ways through which NASA has been able to use, and to apply 3D modeling on their expeditions, but I have LEARNED, so much more! I have learned that NASA has been able to reach a highly new developed, geothermal status, over Antarctica's Ronne Ice Shelf, and that now, they are using this system to look below the ice! 35 minutes ago! So as long as this passage is justified, then I feel that my point, has finally been reached!

Something I Want To Learn Next Class:

Something I want to learn next class is, how to be able to use 3D modeling, in order for me to direct DIRECT motion, in a sequence.

Well, that's it for this blog post! Until the next one! Bye!

What I Have Learned:

Throughout today's progress, I have been able to comprehend, was on how many textures, and backgrounds and surroundings that can be applied to 3D modeling! A lot of this information came from Zatun.com, (see logo below), and Free3dTutorials.com! I know that all of this knowledge still needs to be discovered, but with what I have managed to uncover so far, and what I have seen, I can already see that I am ready for the max!

Something I Want To Learn Next Class:

Something I want to learn next class is how to generate a few of Zatun.com's famous iPad apps, and use them for my Google 20% project! And all I can say now is, I sure hope I can do it soon! Bye!

Well, that's it for this blog post! Until the next one! Bye!

Biometric Security Systems

What I Know About Biometric Security Systems:

I know that biometric security systems, are security systems that are activated and can be bypassed, by a DNA sample from an indicated persons body!

Questions:

1.) I am interested on how people can use biometric security systems to adapt to everyday life.
2.) I am also interested on how can biometric security systems be applied to eye scanning.

Links:

Link # 1 is here!
Link # 2 is here!

Bullet Points List:

1.) That biometric fingerprint encoding, is a process through which the system scans, and applies the image of the indicated fingerprint, into digital form.

2.) The digital image of the fingerprint is translated into code and then later saved onto the system. So when the same finger comes around, the system will recognize it, and grant the person access, into the building!

3.) Throughout voice recognition knows, the system measures the diameter frequency, and the volume of the esophagus, and the voice of the corresponding person. The system also isolates the stronger voice that is closer to the system, and recognizes THAT, as its access pass!

4.) There are also signature-based, biometric security systems. In which the system measures the volume, velocity, pressure, angles, and words, in order for the system to be able to differ one signature, from another!

5.) There are also facial recognition, biometric security systems, throughout which the system tracks, finds, and isolates, important features of the specific face, and the system saves it, for part of future, building, access!

My Short Summary:

The different ways throughout which, biometric security systems are somewhat "implemented" into my daily life, is unimaginable. But it is! The most important way, is that now, CNG, is beginning to implement biometric security systems, inside of the school, to assure for a much, better, future!

Questions That I Still Have:

1.) Do biometric security systems, have a maximum memory storage capacity, to remember all of this information? You know, like a memory stick, or a flash drive, or a USB storage device. Does the number of GB it has, matter, or not?

Google 20%

I would like to be able to learn and to master 3-D Modeling. I feel that it could be a little complicated, based on the volume and the real-life expressions, of any 3-D model. While doing this project, I want to learn how to generate real-life expressions on 3-D models, how to make the volume and mass of the 3-D models look real, and to be able to use these skills to, "turn inanimate things, into animate things"!

Doing this project, will be able to improve my 3-D model presentations. I was thinking that I could present this project, as a 3-D image. I could maybe allow it to rotate, and allow for everyone to be able to see my progress! Having the ability to be able to turn 2-D objects, into 3-D objects, is a very fun and exciting ability! Plus I have found an excellent website in order to allow me to do this! Here is the link!

Well, thats it for this blog post! Until the next one! Bye!
