Swiss School

Sustainability Management School Notes:

It is a school specifically designed for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature. This school is divided into Business Management Education, and Scientific Knowledge for Sustainable Development. This school has the purpose of teaching students in the ways people are able to balance economic growth with sustainable development. All of this is originated from their education. SUMAS has a lot of innovative subjects which allow for students to reach that common goal. This institution allows for students to learn and to increase their sustainability in daily life. While at the same time, going into different kinds of corporate management, or employ. It is one of the only business schools in the entire world that teaches its students how to apply sustainability in their business management. This way, students will be able to understand the products of daily life, where to start, and where to finish, and how to sustain them. It is a very nice location with a wide open learning environment in order for students to have fun, and balance their focus at the same time.

Case Study Notes:

The minimum levels of environmental impact on the world, or the majority, is mostly due to industry. However, no matter what we do the common surface area of the earth is not big enough to absorb all of the CO2 emissions that we release into the environment on a daily basis. There are a few products that have been produced that have been less damaging, or more ecological unto the environment. However, these products have not been commonly used among clients, so the European Congress is going to make a verdict on the situation. The use of more environmental friendly products for the consumer, is increasing the amount of useful land space, and terrain for future generation consumption.

An Inconvenient Truth Notes:

The more us humans are increasing our levels of production, development, innovation, as well as industrialization, we are also causing global warming. The future looks grim for the future of the world unless we act now. Especially if the Arctic melts away. This process will raise the sea level up by an astounding rate, hereby flooding places such as Florida, Calcutta, Hong Kong, and entirely drowning New York City. The choice is ours, and ours alone. When the world has given us so much, is it not our job to give back.

Essay:

Sustainable Consumption in My City:
By: Dan Sanclemente

Several of the common problems in my city are due to innovation. The production levels are high and we still spit up CO2 into the air; constantly causing a much weaker ozone layer, therefore increasing global warming.

What I would do to change this, would be to try to convince business managers to switch over to environmentally safe, reusable products. They are just as efficient, and they require much less energy to produce. Plus, production can be doubled due to government influence on green product development. Therefore allowing for a consumer to recycle their products, so they can be later reused again! It is an ongoing cycle of development for the world. And no CO2 gets flung out in the end!

The result, a nice, spacious, wide open area full of grass, trees, and green, for future generations to live off of, and hopefully, reduce, reuse, and recycle as well. For a much greener earth, and a much brighter future!

Well, that's the end of this blog post! Until the next one! Bye!
