Google Day 2

Goals:

1.) How do you get a scholarship?
2.) What is the minimum GPA required to enter a good college?
3.) What areas of college are the most helpful on your resume?

Links:

1.) Link #1 is here. This is a very helpful website, which allows for you to investigate the different kinds of scholarships, how they are administered, and how priceless they are. Several people say how important it is to receive a scholarship. If it is through academics, athletics, or any external source, a scholarship is still something to be very proud of. Especially if few people get accepted.

2.) Link #2 is here. This link shows to us a chart that specifies the percentage of GPA that is required to enter a good college. This website has been updated recently, so it should not be subject to any change. Basically, colleges work on a 4.0 standard GPA grading system, which can later be classified as an A, B, C, D, or F, sort of grading system. The letters and numbers vary, depending on where you are in school.

3.) Link #3 is here. This link is very helpful, because, it shows to you the different ways to help you organize your resume. From high school scholarships, to citing your references. Several people say that organizing your resume, is the main key that is required to get a good job. So, why don't you just make your resume great?! By following this link, and by following the steps on the webpage, it will be very simple to get your life on track!

What I have Learned:

I learned today, the importance of receiving a scholarship, and how important it is to be recognized by a college to receive one. I also learned that it is very important to excel at something that you are good at, in order for a successful college to be able to recognize the potential that you have. Your resume also strengthens your future choices, and it also affects the slight percentage that you have, in order to enter a good job. Your GPA is very important too. It is the basic requirement to measure your levels of intelligence, to see if you are up to the challenge of completing your college courses.

Goal For Next Class:

1.) To learn if one person can receive a scholarship, outside of standard, academic activities.

Well, that's it for this blog post! Until the next one! Bye!
